There are countless possibilities of questions that you may be answered on interview day. There is no way to predict and prepare for all of them. In some interviews, you may not even say anything that you prepared. I’ve listed a few questions that you should thoughtfully prepare and should cover the majority of your interviews. These are based on my own experiences being interviewed and doing the interviewing for medical school.

9. What are your specific goals in medicine?
10. If you couldn’t go to medical school, what is your alternative career?
11. How do you handle stress?
12. What do you do outside of school and work?
13. What have your experiences been with diverse populations?
14. What do you anticipate being a challenge in medical school?
15. What has been your biggest failure and how did you handle it?
16. Describe your clinical experiences.
17. Describe your research experiences.
